SYF 274 used to carry a self contained snow blower on the front, when it was used by the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation. Its present owner wanted the Station Wagon restored to as near original condition as possible but without the blower. |

| The job of stripping down begins | |

The bulkhead was in a poor state and was beyond repair. The chassis had at some time in its life been 'repaired' and a new, but incorrect pattern, crossmember fitted. |
|
|
The chassis was repaired where necessary and new outriggers fitted, along with a correct pattern rear crossmember. |
|

The axles were taken apart, prior to being cleaned and re-built, |
|

|
 |
then fitted to the freshly painted chassis. |
 |
The galvanised parts have now arrived back from the galvanisers. |
 |
The bulkhead is refitted and a start is made on fitting the new electrics. |
 |

 |
|
| The engine was thoroughly inspected, the block re-painted, re-built and then fitted to the chassis. |
|

The body gradually goes together. |
