Series III 88" Station Wagon MYX 32P
	This ex-British Telecom Series III was purchased by the present owner, as he learnt to drive and passed his test in it. We have been asked to carry out a preservation on this vehicle so that this piece of Land Rover and B.T. history can live for several more years to come. All panels will be re-sprayed.
Here you can make out daylight through the foot wells.
	Having been stripped down, things are worse than originally thought.
The bulkhead is beyond economic repair.
It is also evident that the chassis is not worth repairing. A heavy duty galvanised chassis is sourced as a replacement.
The rear axle casing was badly corroded and so a good second hand unit was refurbished as a replacement. The front axle, still in reasonable condition, was reconditioned with new parts.
The rear axle has been re-fitted along with the new springs, new fuel tank, new wiring loom and rear exhaust section.
	The engine was checked and found to be in good condition. It has been cleaned and re-painted ready for refitting.
The engine has now been fitted to the chassis along with a replacement bulkhead, pedal and heater boxes, steering column and dash assembly.
	The radiator and panel are now in place. The seat box and back body have been fitted, along with the galvanised capings. The pop rivet gun is now working overtime!
The gearbox cover is now in place. Roof and sides loosely fitted ready for alignment. Re-sprayed wheels with replacement tyres now fitted.
	The windscreen, doors and rear windows have been fitted and with everything aligned, the roof has been tightened down.

Having been stripped and cleaned, the capstan winch has been re-painted and re-fitted to the vehicle.
	This shot shows the rear door and other items that have been re-fitted.
The interior trim, seats and seat belts have now all been fitted.
	The completed vehicle, ready for the Customer to collect.
