| As NFO arrived, minus wings and bonnet, which were in the back. | |

| Under the bonnet it was a bit of a mess. A Rover car handbrake lever and steering wheel had been fitted at some time in its life. | |
 |

| The side hinged tail gate and rear heater are remnants of it past use as a ceremonial vehicle. | |
 |
The bulkhead has (unfortunately) more
holes in it than a holey thing with holes in it!
It will be replaced using a Dutch made re-production, with modifications, replicating the early bulkhead. |

| The body and chassis were repaired as necessary | |
 |

The axles were totally stripped and reconditioned before being re-fitted to the repaired and painted chassis. (The wheels and tyres are NOT the correct items, they are slaves only). |

The re-built engine and gearbox are reconditioned to the correct standard, then installed in the chassis. The reconditioned winch has been installed. |

| The new and modified bulkhead has been fitted, along with the radiator and front panel. | The windscreen frame is fitted temporarily and the chassis (now driveable) is moved outside for this photograph. |

The back body has been fitted. Now comes the difficult task of getting the front wings, bulkhead. doors and the body to all line up! |

And here she is. Note the side hinged door. When (IF!) the sun comes out, it's off down the road for an MOT. |
