MEET THE TEAM!
FOUNDER
BRIAN
Brian started the business in 1968 having been told by the local council that he could not work from home. His first Land Rover was a 1949 model which he used daily in the early '50's, until it was accidentally rolled. Co-founder of the All Wheel Drive Club and early restorer of military vehicles in the sixties, Brian's experience makes him knowledgeable on anything four wheel drive. Hobbies include vintage Bentleys, Morris Minors and owl breeding. Although Brian has taken a back seat from the business, he is often called upon for his superior knowledge of the Land Rover products.

In 1968 Brian purchased the amphibious Land Rover (APGP) which started the Dunsfold Collection.

OFFICE
  PHILIP

Philip, following in his father's footsteps, now runs the family business. He currently drives a Discovery 3. Apart from being recognised as a leading authority on all things Land Rover, his hobbies are military vehicles and Harley Davidson custom motorbikes.

DIANE
Diane joined Dunsfold in February 2002 to run the accounts department. She has absolutely no interest in Land Rovers whatsoever! However, we are trying to bring her round to the correct way of thinking. We think she would look really nice in a soft top. (Freelander that is!!!).
WORKSHOP
ERIC

Eric started working at Dunsfold around 1986.  After a  period of vehicle preparation and travelling around Africa, he returned to Dunsfold in 1990 to run the workshop department. He is always happy to discuss your requirements. Eric has been interested in land Rovers for about 25 years, his first being a 110 Station Wagon.

He currently drives a 50th Anniversary Discovery.

After 20 odd years at Dunsfold, Eric has now hung up his spanners and is taking a well earned retirement. We wish him well.

    ROB
First contact with Rob was when he popped in and asked to borrow a spanner for his motorbike. Rob started working at Dunsfold in 1968 straight from school. He did have a seven year break, but just had to come back. His first Land Rover was a SI 80", followed by an ex-military SIIA.

Rob is also a part time Firefighter.

DARRYL
Darryl has worked at Dunsfold since 1996. He has owned various Land Rovers, his first being a Lightweight. The second one was a 1967 SII, which he bought from Dunsfold as a derelict. Darryl completely rebuilt the vehicle and re-engined it with a V8.

Darryl currently owns a 1964 SII 88" and an early Range Rover. He also owns a 1943 Willys Jeep and enjoys off-road driving on a KTM 450 EXC.

STORES / OFFICE
NICK

Nick (this one's known as Technick) has been working at Dunsfold since July 2002. He has had an interest in Land Rovers for many years his first being a SIIA 109" Station Wagon. Nick was first acquainted with Dunsfold in 1992 when he became a 'Friend' of the Dunsfold Collection. Nick, deals with the Collection Membership and the Collection web site. (When he gets time!)

His current vehicles are a V8 Series I Discovery and an ex-military 90, which he prefers to drive.

  NICK
Nick (known as Mechanick to distinguish him from the other Nick), has worked at Dunsfold since January 2002. His experience of working on Land Rovers dates from 1972, so he knows a thing or two.

He now works in the office running our eBay sales.

Nick owns a very nice 1950 80".

General Staff
  DIANE 2
After four years of training, we have finally managed to get Diane to work a vacuum cleaner. She seems to have finally found her true vocation and usually does an excellent job. However, we do have to keep telling her not to sweep the dirt under the carpet!

Diane has also been promoted to the position of Tea Lady, but she is a bit stingy with the doughnuts.
